Hello and welcome to my little space on the web.Take a look around see something you like just click and check it out. They call me Macatax, and this is in the community of music because I am a musician. I play bass guitar and I have been playing since 1964,so I guess you could say that i have been around the block a time or two.I have played with the likes of Merle Haggard,Eddie Bond,Doug Stone,Country Outlaw Band,Night Riders,Guess Who's,Jimmy Swindale's Band,Tommy Hunt and many more.I have also played in various clubs in and around the Memphis Tn. area in the 60's&70's.Our music was based on old classic country , 50's& 60's rock~n~roll, and the world famous "Memphis Music".

The set-up I have is a 1965 Gibson EB3 bass,Fender Dual Showman amp, with a 2 speaker box cabinet. This is the bass that I used when I was playing way back when with all the "old" greats. I have done many recordings over the years, such as records, studio tracks for others and I plan on doing more recording in the future.
